Hypothesis
The rate of remarriage will be more strongly associated with tie-breaking customs where levirate remarriage is practiced (219).
Note
A non-significant trend in the data provides some support. Five of seven tie-breaking customs are more strongly correlated with remarriage rates when remarriage occurs exclusively by levirate.
