Hypothesis
Subsistence type and marriage type will affect the frequency of premarital relations; this relationship will differ between societies where arranged marriages are prevalent and societies where it is not (p.195).
Note
"The odds ratio indicated that arranged married societies were 5.5 times more likely to classify as having premarital relationships "occasional" and 9.9 times more likely to classify as having premarital relationships "uncommon" than "universal," but as indicated by the Wald statistic, the odds ratio was not significant (p.195)."
